Ó hArgain ploughs to 'plough on' as a Kilkenny councillor despite election disappointment

General Election candidate Sean Ó hArgain has vowed to 'plough on' despite not securing a Dáil seat with the Labour Party in Carlow-Kilkenny over the weekend.

Ó hArgain, a councillor in Kilkenny City was eliminated on the sixth count over the weekend.

"I'm disappointed not to be joining the eleven Labour Party TDs who have created a great comeback for the Labour Party but we'll plough on and serve the people of Kilkenny and hopefully in the future, Carlow and Kilkenny will be part of that rebuilding process as well," Mr Ó hArgain said.
