Moneenroe NS u-13 quiz team
The Moneenroe NS under-13 team has become the Kilkenny Credit Union Quiz Champions for 2023.
The successful quiz team were Michael Bradish, Liam Lawlor, Eva Roche and Connla Young.
Moneenroe NS u-13 quiz team qualified for the county finals by coming out on top in the local Castlecomer Credit Union quiz against North East Kilkenny Schools in late January.
On county final night in Gowran Park on Friday, the standard of questioning was quite hard with Moneenroe winning with 60 out of 72, Paulstown NS in second place and Bennettsbridge NS in third place. The victorious quiz quartet now look forward to the Credit Union National Finals in the RDS in Dublin on a date to be confirmed in April.
