Creative students from across the city gathered in Kilkenny City Vocational School (KCVS) recently for a spectacular Junk Kouture catwalk event.

On show were some of the most creative Junk Kouture costumes from across the county.

Costumes took influence from a diverse range of areas including Claudia’s ‘Spanish Dancer’ design and Megan’s steampunk-inspired ‘Angel’.

Zoe from KCVS and her design ‘Spykes Yikes’ has been chosen to go forward and compete at the Dublin City Final of Junk Kouture.

Taking place later today (May 4), eighty design teams from post-primary schools across Ireland will battle it out for one of ten places up for grabs to represent Ireland at the next Junk Kouture World Final.

Best of luck Zoe!
