The winning team in this coveted five star grand prix show had very strong Kilkenny connections with Marion Hughes from Cuffsgrange, HHS Calis, ridden by Mikey Pender and bred by the late Ita Brennan from Gowran.
Inistioge young rider Jack Ryan was also part of the winning team when he rode BBS Mc Gregor, bred and owned by his mother and local woman Marguerite Ryan. What an achievement for these young riders on the world stage.
