Permission refused for 43 unit housing development in Kilkenny

Plans to develop 43 housing units at a site in Callan have been refused by Kilkenny County Council.

The proposed development site was Friary Walk, Clashacollare, Callan.

These units were planned to comprise of two-storey semi-detached and terraced housing.

Also sought was permission for boundary treatments, landscaping, all associated site development works and for the proposed road network and services to connect to the existing residential development known as Friary Walk.

Permission was refused on June 29, 2023.
