Boil water notice lifted
Residents in the Clogh-Castlecomer area saw a return of their water supply on Saturday last.
The decision comes following a period of uncertainty for residents whose ability to prepare food, brush teeth and carry out other household tasks was impacted.
Uisce Eireann and Kilkenny County Council consulted with HSE officials over the weekend with the decision offering much relief to the local community.
Families and businesses in North Kilkenny have experienced a number of issues with their water supply in recent months with over 3,300 locals impacted since last December.
