Lots of Hallowe'en-flavoured fun events at Savour Kilkenny

A numbebr of Hallowe'en events are due to take place later this month  as part of Savour Food Festival.

HUGHES FARMING PUMPKIN PATCH
Savour Market, The Parade, Kilkenny: Come along to Hughes Farming Pumpkin Patch at the Savour Market, in Kilkenny City. Pick your last-minute pumpkin from the patch and snap an autumnal family photo. It takes place on Saturday and Sunday,  October 28 and 29 from 11am -6pm (€3 - €10)

KIDS HALLOWEEN COOKING CLASS 
Join Deirdre from the multi award winning The Cool Food School for a fun, interactive, kids Halloween cooking class making chocolate apple mummies. Wear your costumes. Suitable for children from age 6+. It takes place on Sunday, October 29 from 11am (one hour duration) at the Kilkenny Design Centre, the Parade. Cost is €15 per child.

GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR PUMPKIN
Join Denise Walsh for a 90-minute workshop on getting the best out of your pumpkin flesh and pumpkin seeds with a delicious selection of seasonal recipe ideas including; pumpkin puree, pumpkin soup, pumpkin pasta, pumpkin seed cookies and roasted pumpkin seeds. There will also be samples for tasting.It takes place on Friday, October 27 from 1.30pm – 3pm in Loughboy Library.
