The Castlecomer Wellington Race Committee invite charities to apply as beneficiaries of Wellington Race 2024 to Secretary, Billy Moran before November 18.
The Wellie Race has been part and parcel of the community for 44 years and the success of the day revolves around participation whether it’s running, walking, jogging or taking part in the fancy dress parade.
A special emphasis for this January 1 is being placed on clubs and organisations who are asked to put their collective shoulders to the wheel. Clubs should wear their colours with prizes on offer for the various winning teams
