Road works on the Dunningstown Road on the outskirts of Kilkenny City are nearing completion according to local Fine Gael councillor Martin Brett.
Mr Brett was informed by a Kilkenny County Council spokesperson that 'two stop and go traffic management systems are in place outside of peak traffic hours to avoid substantial traffic disruption.'
Kilkenny Live understands that works in the area will be 'substantially completed' by the end of next week.
