Colaiste Abhainn Rí have been hosting a number of fundraisers to raise money for their Kenya Immersion Programme.

The students were invited to take part in the programme in transition year and now that they are in fifth year, they will be finally getting the opportunity to travel over to Kenya during the Easter holidays in 2024.

The programme will last around 10 days, taking the extensive travel into account.

The programme was designed for the students to get the opportunity to fully integrate themselves in the day-to-day life in Kenya.

This will include attending school for a week, preparing and having lunch with the local students, visiting aid centres, dancing, playing games and much more.
