Fireworks lit up the skies over the River Nore, marking a superb ending to Yulefest - Christmas in Kilkenny on Friday.

The final weekend of Kilkenny’s Yulefest Christmas was a huge success, drawing the crowds to the medieval city centre. Dozens of stalls featuring local craft, food and art producers attracted thousands of shoppers, who were entertained by live music on the festival bandstand and all under the glow of the city’s sparkling new lighting displays.
