Showcase Ireland was held this week in the RDS, Dublin. The event is one of the country's largest international trade shows as local craftspeople take part in this trade fair each year.

Over 3,350 buyers visit the event from across the world, including Ireland, the UK, the USA, Mainland Europe and the Far East, generating sales orders of over €25.6 million during the three days of the show.

Presented on behalf of the Design & Crafts Council Ireland, the Kilkenny exhibitors were Nicholas Mosse Pottery, Jerpoint Glass Studio, Biddy's Good Luck Horse Shoes and Geraldine Walsh Art.

Biddy's Good Luck Horse Shoes is a family-run business in Kilkenny which creates gifts for all occasions from genuine horseshoes.

Nicholas Mosse Pottery and Jerpoint Glass Studio are well established and have been exhibiting at the fair since it began almost 50 years ago.
