Two men who were questioned in relation to the murder of Gerry Nolan in Castlecomer in July 2006 have been released without charge.
The suspects were arrested yesterday morning and were quizzed for a number of hours by detectives. They were released without charge earlier today and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
Gardaí are appealing to people living in the Castlecomer area to come forward with any information that they have which may be relevant to their inquiries.
