The death has occurred of Joan Sheil (née Walsh), Navan Road, Dublin / Woodsgift, Kilkenny on March 23, 2017, (peacefully), in the wonderful care of the staff of the Blackrock Clinic, predeceased by her loving husband John and her beloved daughter Catherine; much loved and sadly missed by her daughter Geraldine, sons Michael, John and Martin, son-in-law Donal, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Helen and Brid, her 8 grandchildren, sister Helen, brother Billy, extended family, neighbours, friends and carers.
Reposing at her home on Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am in Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Navan Road and afterwards to Glasnevin Cemetery.
The late Very Rev. Fr. Tom Carrigan
The death has occurred of Very Rev. Fr. Tom Carrigan, Clarabricken, Clifden, Kilkenny on 23rd March 2017, peacefully, at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home, Very Rev. Fr. Tom (retired parish priest of the diocese of Sacramento, U.S.A.), predeceased by his brothers Liam and Jim and sister Kitty, deeply regretted by his brothers Nicholas and Martin, sister Dolores, sister-in-law Patricia, brother-in-law Noel, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, the bishop, priests and parishioners of the diocese of Sacramento, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home in Clarabricken on Sunday (26th March) from 6pm to 8pm with rosary at 7.30pm. Removal on Monday morning to St. John’s Church, Kilkenny, for Concelebrated Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Clara. House private on Monday please.

Formerly of Main Street, Mooncoin, County Kilkenny and Ex Army Corporal. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan, daughters Siobhan, Carmel and Margo, sisters Stasia and Frances, sons-in-law Jonnie and Eamonn, his 5 adoring grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing on Friday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons, Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 3.00pm with prayers at 6.30pm followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11.00am. Burial after in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations to 'Waterford Hospice'.

The death has occurred of Paul Lanigan, Loughboy Park, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny.
Died on 23rd March 2017, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, after a short illness bravely borne, beloved husband of Joan and much loved father of Kelley, sadly missed by his wife and daughter, father Michael (Icy), brothers Michael, Tommy, Mark and David, sisters Mary (Massey) and Cora, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandniece, extended family and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at his sister Mary's home at 13 Cedarwood Close, Loughboy, from 3 o'clock on Friday with Rosary at 7 o'clock. Removal on Saturday morning to St. John's Church, Kilkenny arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. Family home at Loughboy Park private please.
