The late Mary Ellen (Nellie) Brennan, (née Grace)

The death has occurred of Mary Ellen (Nellie) Brennan, (née Grace), Newrath, Waterford / Carrigeen, Kilkenny  who died on 7th May 2017 Peacefully at home Predeceased by her husband James and son Barry.

Nellie will be sadly missed by her loving children Liam, Seamus, Margot, Des and Fergal, son-in-law Joe, daughters-in-law Mary, Veronica, Mary and Ruth grandchildren, great grandchild, brother Bobby, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends

Reposing at her home on Tuesday 9th May from 3pm with prayers at 8pm, Removal on Wednesday 10th May to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Louise Queally

The death has occurred of Louise Queally (née Kenny), Clomantagh, Lower Barna, Woodsgift, Kilkenny.

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her mother Kathleen. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband Mervyn, her adoring children Kathleen, Ciara, Niamh, Shay and Roisin, father Ollie, brother Jimmy, mother in law, father in law, sisters in law, brother in law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home on Monday from 3 o'clock with rosary at 9 o'clock. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Patrick's Church, Graine, arriving for requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Kilkenny Carlow Homecare Team and Cois Nore, Kilkenny. House private on Tuesday morning please.

The late Kathleen Barry

The death has occurred of Kathleen Barry 30 The Meadows, Callan, Kilkenny

Died May 5th 2017 peacefully after a short illness in St. Luke's Hospital Kilkenny and in the loving care of Sarah and staff of Strathmore Lodge Nursing Home, Callan. Predeceased by her brother Andrew and sisters Breda (Greene), Sr. Joan (Loreto), and Margaret (Moran). Deeply regretted by her sisters Doreen Carroll,( Rathdowney) and Elizabeth (Kilkenny), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Molloy's funeral parlour, Callan tomorrow, (Sunday 7th May) from 5.00 pm with prayers at 6.30 pm followed by removal to the church of the Assumption Callan. Requiem mass on Monday at 11.00 am. Followed by interment in Tullaherin cemetery.

The death has occurred of Luke O'Shea, Massford, Castlecomer, Kilkenny / Crettyard, Carlow

Formerly of Doonane Bridge, Crettyard, Carlow. At Naas General Hospital. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Alice. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons Michael, Liam and Luke, daughters Mary, Helen and Bernie, sisters-in-law Mary and Ellen, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughers-in-law, son-in-law, Mary's partner, niece and nephew, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer from 6pm on Saturday. Vigil Prayers and Rosary on Saturday evening at 8.30pm. Funeral Prayers on Sunday evening at 6pm followed by removal to Saint Patrick's Church, Clogh. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The late John Phelan

The death has occurred of John Phelan London and formerly Old Rd., Urlingford, Kilkenny.

Reposing at Doyle's funeral home Urlingford on Saturday evening from 4.30pm to 6.30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Assumption Urlingford arriving for Mass at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am followed by burial in Johnstown Cemetery.
