The Presbyterian Church on New Road
A number of religious properties have been targeted by opportunist criminals in recent days.
The Parochial House in Prologue, Callan was burgled on Sunday evening between 5pm and 11pm and gardaí are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to make contact with them.
Meanwhile in the city there was a burglary at the Presbyterian Church on New Road last week.
The break in took place between 6.30pm on November 7 and the following morning.
The culprits gained entry to the property by forcing open a rear window and a quantity of cash was taken.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Kilkenny gardaí on (056) 777 5000.
