Sunday marked the very last Mass celebrated in Knocktopher Church by the Carmelite Order after hundreds of years of service to the local community.
The parish will now be looked after by the Diocese of Ossory and Fr Sean O'Connor has been appointed parish priest with jurisdiction over Knockwilliam, Ballyhale and Knocktpher churches.
