Lions Club Schools Christmas concert

St Canice's Cathedral in Kilkenny city will be centre stage with music and song on Wednesday, December 6 when the 24th  annual Lions Club Schools Concert takes place, commencing at 7.30pm.

Performing on the night will be: St. Canices Co-Ed Recorder & Jazz Band; St Johns Senior Orchestra & Choir; Gaelscoil  Choir; St. John of God Choir; Kilkenny College Choirs

This is the 24th year the Lions Club has presented its Schools Concert in conjunction with the Kilkenny People and KCLR 96fm.

All proceeds go to the Spirit of Christmas Hamper & Charity Appeal to help the needy of Kilkenny City and County. Admission is €10 for adults and €4 for children with a family of 4 for €25.There will be a number of prizes drawn from the door tickets. An excellent night's entertainment is guaranteed.
