Put the fire on and wrap up warm

Temperatures could dip as low as -4 and remain sub-zero until 10am tomorrow

A Status Yellow weather warning is in place in Kilkenny tonight, with temperatures to dip as low as -4 and to remain sub-zero until 10am tomorrow (Tuesday).

Kilkenny County Council has issued an alert advising motorists and pedestrians to exercise extreme caution as icy roads and footpaths can be expected.
