One Brexit readiness voucher has been approved in Kilkenny from a total of 24 nationwide.
Fianna Fáil's Niall Collins asked the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation for the number of Brexit readiness vouchers from InterTradeIreland that have been availed of since being established, by county; and the value of such vouchers.
The voucher goes towards professional advice in relation to Brexit matters.
InterTrade says the support can help your business get advice on specific issues such as movement of labour, goods, services and currency management.
The assistance requested must relate to a cross-border issue.
Minister Heather Humphreys said: “Since the establishment of its Brexit Advisory Service, InterTrade Ireland has approved 24 vouchers for companies in Ireland.
“In addition, there are 17 voucher applications currently pending. The value of each voucher is €2,000.”
Only fourteen counties were listed as having companies receive a voucher.
Kilkenny has had one voucher approved and has another one pending.
InterTradeIreland is a Cross-Border Trade and Business Development Body funded by the Government.
In total 24 Brexit readiness vouchers have been approved across the country with 17 pending.
