Two teenage males were arrested yesterday (Tuesday) in connection with a robbery on the outskirts of the city earlier this month.
Cash and a phone was stolen from the victim during the ordeal which took place at Coote's Lane on the evening of December 12.
Four males approached the injured party at approximately 4.50pm and stopped him and intimidated him and he was in fear of the group. The perpetrators then stole the injured party's phone and cash.
Following a garda investigation two suspects were arrested yesterday (Tuesday) and were detained at Kilkenny Garda Station where they were interviewed by detectives in relation to the robbery at Coote's Lane a week earlier.
