A new bishop of Ossory will be announced this morning.
The announcement will be made at St Mary's Cathedral in the next hour and will coincide with an announcement from The Vatican in Rome.
The previous bishop Seamus Freeman retired in July 2016 and said it was 'a great privilege to serve the good people of Ossory'.
