Rainfall warning issued in Kilkenny for the weekend

A status yellow rainfall alert will come into effect in Kilkenny from 6pm

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Rainfall Warning for Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford and Wicklow.

The forecasters are predicting some 25–40 mm of rain in the 24 hour period from 6pm this evening to 6pm on Saturday, with flooding in places. Higher amounts likely in the Wicklow Mountains.
