Kilkenny deaths for Sunday, February 11

The late Patricia Brennan

The sad death has taken place of Patricia Brennan, 10 Cuil Na Greine, Ballyhale, Co Kilkenny and formerly of Robinstown, Glenmore, Co Kilkenny, peacefully at St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny, on Thursday 8th of February 2018. Wife of the late James. Greatly missed by her daughters Helen and Jackie, brothers Liam and Paddy, grandchildren Ricky, Gemma and Ben, son in law Andy, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at St Columba's Hospital Mortuary, Thomastown, from 5pm on Monday with rosary and vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in the Carmilite Friary, Knocktopher, followed by burial in St Mary's new cemetery Thomastown.

The late Tim Connolly

The death has occurred of Tim Connolly, 11 Tinnahinch, Graignamanagh, Kilkenny in St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mairead, his children Mary, Walter and Majella, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Kitty and Anna, his neighbours and friends.

 Reposing at his daughter's residence, 17 Tinnahinch from 6pm today Saturday to 9pm and from 3pm to 9pm tomorrow, Sunday. Removal at 10.30am on Monday morning to Duiske Abbey, Graignamanagh for 11 o clock requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tinnahinch. House private on Monday morning please.

The late Jimmy Dermody

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Dermody
Crowbally, Ballyhale, Kilkenny, brother of the late Fr. Mick and Fr. Tom. Father of the late baby Eamonn. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, sons John and Michael, daughter Helen, brothers Owen and Neddy, sister Kitty, daughter-in-law Pauline, sister-in-law Eileen, granddaughters Aoibhe and Saoirse, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday from 12 noon with rosary at 9.00pm. Arriving on Monday at All Saints Church, Knockmoylan, for requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial after in adjoining cemetery. House private on Monday morning, please.

The late Geoff Doyle

The death has occurred of Geoff Doyle
Gortlug, Ballyfoyle, Kilkenny on 9th February 2018, peacefully, at his home, Geoff, beloved husband of Eileen and much loved father of Mary, Letitia, Geoff, Breda, Michael, Val, Tony, Kieran and Helen, sadly missed by his wife and family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandson, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (13th Feb.) from 4 o'clock with Rosary at 8 o'clock. Funeral Prayers on Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock followed by removal to St. John's Church, Kilkenny. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.30 o'clock. Interment afterwards in Johnswell Cemetery.

The late Paddy O'Brien

Tne death has occurred of Paddy O'Brien, Upper White Bridge, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny8th February 2018, unexpectedly, at The Mater Hospital, Dublin, Paddy, beloved husband of Mary and much loved father of Andy and Deirdre. Sadly missed by his wife and family, sisters Maria (Gorey) and Pauline, son-in-law Kevin, daughter-in-law Deirdre, grandchildren Emily, Grace, Rebecca, Odhrán and Clodagh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny, from 5 o'clock on Tuesday (13th Feb.) with Funeral Prayers at 6.30 o'clock followed by removal to St. Patrick's Church. Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to Foulkstown Cemetery.

The late Gary Ryan

The death has occurred of Gary RyanHarristown, Graignamanagh, Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by his wife Mary, sons Michael and Gary, daughters Helen, Denise, Fiona and Marie, brothers, sister, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren and extended family.

Reposing at his home on Saturday 10th February from 12.00 noon until Rosary at 8.00pm. House private on Sunday. Funeral Mass at 3.00pm on Sunday in Duiske Abbey, Graignamanagh. Burial afterwards in St. Molling's Cemetery, St. Mullins. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to C.O.P.D Support Ireland.

The late Lily Frisby

The death occurred of Elizabeth (Lily) FRISBY (née Meagher)
Ballinamona, Slieverue, Kilkenny on Friday, 9th February 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Michael and sister Mary (Maher). Lily will be sadly missed by her loving sons Ger, Michael, Pat and Raymond, daughter Elizabeth, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren Kate, Jack, Micheal, Saoirse, Cillian, Lorcan, Ciaran, Crea, Conor and Lily, sisters Kathleen (Keogh) and Imelda (Dunphy) brother Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews family, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass this moring (Sunday0, in The Church of the Assumption, Slieverue at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
