Nuala Whelan from Graignamanagh with John Keane at the Sive actresses reunion in the Gaiety Theatre today
This afternoon, Nuala Whelan travelled from Graignamanagh to the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin with her daughter Ciara for a reunion of all the actresses who have played the part of Sive in the play of the same name from when it was written in 1959 until the present day.
She played Sive in the John B Keane play back in 1966 with The Abbey Players, Graignamanagh and still remembers every facet of the show and said she has wonderful memories of that time. There were 55 Sives in the Gaiety today.
