Members of the public are being encouraged to go and see plans for the construction of seventeen social houses in Piltown at an information session tomorrow.

The plans and details of the proposed housing scheme at Main Street, Piltown will be on display.

At a recent meeting of Piltown Municipal District, Fine Gael Cllr Pat Dunphy wanted to highlight the fact that the social housing plans for Piltown will be on public display on February 13.

He encouraged people to go and see what's planned for social housing before it all comes before the Council in a couple of months.

Cllr Dunphy said the plans are there to see what the community have to say on they'll be on display from 4pm-7pm tomorrow in Piltown Community Centre.

Staff members from Kilkenny County Council, Housing Section will be in attendance to answer any questions that the public might have regarding this development.

Submissions/comments/observations regarding the proposals can be made on the day.
