The late Eileen Bolger

The death has occurred of Eileen Bolger (née Purcell), Whitmore, Coventry, England and formerly of Gaulstown, Kilmacow, Co.Kilkenny who died on Thursday, 22nd February, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Philip and Bridie. Eileen will be sadly missed by her loving husband John, daughters Catriona and Rachael, brothers Michael, Richard, John, Eamonn, Seamus and Philip, sisters Kathleen (Purcell), Bridget (Whelan), Anna (Purcell). brothers -in- law, sisters -in-law, nieces, nephews, family, neighbours and friends.

 Eileen will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank on Monday, 5th March, from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Tuesday (6th) to to St. Senan's Church, Kilmacow, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers please. Donations to hospice if desired c/o Power's Funeral Directors, Ferrybank.

The late John (Jack) Dunphy

The death has occurred of John (Jack) Dunphy, Ballygorey, Mooncoin, Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Breda, sons Nicky and Brian, daughter Claire, brother Tommy, sisters Nellie, Peggie and Kathleen, daughters-in-law Catherine and Lisa, son-in-law Damien, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 4.30pm with prayers at 7.00pm followed by removal to St. Kevin’s Church, Carrigeen. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11.00am. Burial after in adjoining cemetery. Donations if desired to Waterford Hospice please.

The late Phil Murray

The death has occurred of Philomena (Phil) Murray, 19 Wolfe Tone Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny on 4th March 2018, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital. Philomena (Phil), beloved daughter of the late John and Mary Murray. Sadly missed by her loving partner Seamus, cousins Maeve and Canice, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday (6th March) from 2 o'clock with Rosary that evening at 8 o'clock. Funeral Prayers on Wednesday morning at 11.15 o'clock followed by removal to St. John's Church for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St. Kieran's Cemetery.

The late Mary Carew

The death has occurred of Mary Carew (née Dunne)
Rossinan, Mullinavat, Kilkenny. Wife of the late Larry. Deeply regretted by her loving children Margaret, Patrick, Bernadette, Lorraine, Sharon, Molly and Claude, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Sunday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow, from 3.00pm with prayers at 5.30pm, followed by removal to St. Beacon’s Church, Mullinavat. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon. Burial afterwaqrds in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations to City Cats.

The late Jim Kealy

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Kealy,  Assumption Place, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny unexpectedly, at St. Jame's Hospital, Dublin, James (Jim), beloved husband of Breda and much loved father of Debbie, sadly missed by his wife and daughter, son-in-law Vinny, his darling granddaughter Amber, brother Pat, sisters Peggy, Kitty, Ann, Mary and Ber, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home on Monday (5th March) from 4 o'clock with Funeral Prayers at 6.15 o'clock followed by removal to St. John's Church. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 10.30 o'clock. Funeral aftewards to St. Kieran's Cemetery.

The late Maria Civita Taglienti

The death has occurred of Maria Civita Taglienti  (née Borza)
Aglish, Carrigeen, Mooncoin, Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Adelino, son, daughters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nine adoring grandchildren, relatives and friends.

The late Dick Murphy

The death has occurred of Richard (Dick) Murphy, Killeen, Kilmanagh, Kilkenny on March 1st 2018, in his 99th year. Peacefully at his home, in the loving care of his beloved wife May, much loved father of Mary (deceased), Ray, Christine and Nora, survived by his brother Ted, daughter-in-law Margaret, sons-in-law Eamon and Tom, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan, on Sunday 4th March from 2pm. Funeral Prayers at 4pm followed by removal to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Kilmanagh. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ballykeeffe.

The late Rita Quinn-Harding

The death has occurred of Quinn-Harding, Rita, (nee Cairns) (Kilkenny) 1st March 2018, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown, sadly missed by her loving son Vincent, daughter-in-law Simone, grandchildren Sylvie and David and their partners Garry and Aimée, great grandchildren Braden and Catie, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home on Sunday 4th March from 7.30 o'clock to 9 o'clock with Prayers at 8.30 oclock. Removal on Monday morning to Kilkenny Presbyterian Church, New Road, for Funeral Service at 11 o'clock. Private Cremation to take place later. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, to St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown.
