Thomastown Concert Hall - Play your part in restoring the past building for the future

Thomastown Concert Hall - Play your part in restoring the past building for the future

Work will soon start on reinstating the balcony of the wonderful Concert Hall in Thomastown. Built in 1910, the former Tower Cinema is beginning to regain its charm thanks to painstaking work.

A total of 40 cinema type seats will be needed at a cost of €250 each. It is a unique opportunity for families, businesses and individuals to sponsor a seat. An artist's impression of the layout of the seats up in the balcony will be framed and hung on the stairwell with each sponsors name included on the seats in the painting.

The Concert Hall/Community Centre has added so much to the social fabric of the town with almost €500,000 spent there since 2013.

"Your sponsorship will help us to complete phase three which will enable us to continue to develop the facility for the good of everyone," chairman of the restoration committee, Seamus Quigley said.

To sponsor a seat please contact 087-7728170 or email seamussquigley@gmail.com. Thomastown Community Centre is for you and everyone," Seamus added.
