Kilkenny deaths for Thursday, March  8

The late Teresa (Terry) Meaney

The death has occurred of Teresa (Terry) Meaney, McDonagh Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny on February 28th 2018 (unexpectedly) at her home. Much loved mother of Nicole and Dylan and beloved daughter of Noel (Noelie). She will be deeply missed by her heartbroken daughter, son, father, brothers Paul, Seamus and Jamesie, boyfriend Dermot, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home from 5.30p.m. on Friday (March 9th) with Funeral Prayers at 6.30p.m. followed by removal to St. Canice's Church. Funeral on Saturday (March 10th) after 11a.m. Requiem Mass to St. Kieran's Cemetery.

The late Patrick Coady

death has occurred of Patrick (Patsy) Coady, Newtown, Borris, Carlow / Graignamanagh, Kilkenny. Patsy died in the care of his loving family and the staff of St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny on the 5th of March. Beloved husband of the late Peggy. Much loved by his son Pat and his wife Paula, daughters Mary and her partner Seán, Helen and her partner Brian, his grandchildren Pádhraic, Caoimhe, Abhainn and Brian Óg. He will be sadly missed by his brother Sonny, sisters Nell and Nan, sisters-in-law Joan and Nora, brother-in-law John, nieces and nephews, good neighbours and friends and of course all in Celina's.

Reposing at his home from 11 am Wednesday and Thursday mornings with prayers at 8 pm Thursday. Removal on Friday to St. Moling's Church, Glynn for Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Mullins.

The late Edward (Neddie) Phelan

The death has occurred of Edward (Neddie) Phelan, (Radestown North, Kilkenny and late of Conahy) 7th March 2018, peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Edward (Neddie), beloved husband of Nancy and much loved father of Sheila, Michael, John, Eamon, Brendan and Dominic, sadly missed by his wife and family, sister Ann, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephew, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home from 2 o’clock on Thursday (8th March) with Funeral Prayers at 6.30 o’clock followed by removal to Dunmore Church. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
