The Johnstown Road, Freshford flooded yet again
Freshford village in Kilkenny is flooded once more. The Nuenna River burst its banks this evening marooning 14 houses on the Johnstown Road with only large 4X4 vehicles able to get through.
Cllr Mick McCarthy said local people are livid that the decades old problem with the tributary of the River Nore has not been solved.
