Adopt, don't shop and reap the rewards thanks to Petmania at Kilkenny Retail Park

Kilkenny dog-lovers who adopt their pet from Protecting Pound Dogs,  a voluntary unfunded non-profit animal rescue organisation that re-home dogs to caring and responsible homes will benefit from a number of rewards.

Petmania at Kilkenny Retail Park will host monthly in-store adoption days with Protection Pounds Dogs where people thinking about getting a dog can come along and meet some of the animals looking for their forever home and hopefully begin the process of becoming an adoptive pet family.

When new pet-parents adopt a pet through Protecting Pound Dogs, or any other partner rescue to the Petmania Adoption Centre Programme, they will receive a registration form which will enable them to receive a range of adoptive family rewards: free one-to-one consult with a pet care adviser,
free weight check and body condition score check, free flea/tick treatment, free worming treatment, free ID Tag, free 2kgs bag of dog food, a free groom and discounts instore.
In addition, nutrition partner to the Petmania Adoption Centre programme, Burns Pet Nutrition, will donate three bowls of food for every 15kg of their products bought through Petmania stores, to Petmania’s partner rescue centres. To date over 50,000 bowls of food have been donated to Galway Cat Rescue, ASH Animal Rescue, SERA Husky & Animal Rescue, Kingdom Cat and Dog Rescue and Protecting Pound Dogs from Burns PetNutrition and Petmania.
