Social Ability Kilkenny, the self-advocacy group for people with intellectual disabilities, will hold an information meeting in James' Green Community Healthcare Centre in Kilkenny on Thursday, August 16 at 7pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to get more volunteers involved to support the work of the self-advocacy.  It will be held in conjunction with John Truelove, who has many years experience of community facilitation working with people with intellectual disabilities.

Those who might be interested in attending include occupational therapists, student nurses, service users, family members, service providers support staff, other interested people and community activists. In the past year, Social Ability has held a number of social events here.
