KILKENNY - New health care centre for Thomastown moves a step closer

Plans to develop a new Primary Healthcare Centre in Thomastown have moved a step closer.

Further information has been received by Kilkenny County Council for the  proposed facility at Newton, Lady's Well Street in the town.
It  comprises of a two storey building with a single storey elements. The Primary Healthcare Centre building will provide for HSE health and social
care services (including dental) and General Practice and associated
meeting rooms, administrative offices, staff accommodation,
receptions and ancillary uses.

External works to the structure include roof plant and signage. The proposals also include a new entrance road off Lady's Well Street, a site entrance, car and bicycle parking, a set down area, an ESB sub-station and waste store with service yard, lighting and a totem sign.
