Kilkenny High Street will have live music and dancing on Friday and Saturday

Street will close to traffic from noon to 3pm

No traffic just entertainment on High Street on Friday and Saturday from noon to 3pm

Live music under the Tholsel arches this Friday and Saturday as part of Kilkenny arts Festival

Kilkenny County Council, in association with Kilkenny Arts Festival, is delighted to announce entertainment for all on High Street again this Friday and Saturday. Events will include live music under the Tholsel arches, a special dance performance (including a chance for everyone to join in!) and activities for children, including an exciting Medieval Mile Treasure Hunt and face painting.

To support the public's enjoyment of the events, High Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between noon and 3.30pm. Of course it will be business as usual for businesses on High Street and adjoining streets, and all public and private car parks in the city centre will remain fully accessible and open throughout. Everyone is invited, so come and enjoy the Festival atmosphere on High Street on Friday and Saturday.
