Over 17,000 people attended the Iverk Show today in Piltown. It was a huge success with trade stands recording great business and one garage owner declaring he took more orders for Massey Ferguson tractors at the Iverk Show than he did at the National Ploughing Championships.
And forr the first time in many years the Great Cherry Cake competition was one by a local woman, Brigid O'Reilly.
