John Kennedy (Jimmy) and Kirsten Neale (Alice) in Happy Birthday Dear Alice

The cast and crew of Gowran Little Theatre are once again busy preparing for their autumn production.
This year the group are producing Happy Birthday Dear Alice, a comedy by renowned Irish playwright, Bernard Farrell.
Happy Birthday Dear Alice focuses on the efforts of a dispersed, dysfunctional suburban family to commit their ageing, gentle yet resilient mother to the uncertain fate of a nursing home.
Peter Madden is once again, seated in the director’s chair and under Peter’s watchful eye are Kirsten Neale (Alice), John Kennedy (Jimmy), Clare Gibbs (Barbara), Michael Hayes (Barry), Derek Lawler (Cormac) and Anne Murray (Sandy).
The director and cast, along with the entire production team are putting in a sterling effort to ensure that this year’s production will be a fantastic and hilarious success.
Happy Birthday Dear Alice will run from October 19th-22nd in Gowran Parish Hall at 8.00pm each evening. Tickets for this great nights entertainment cost only €10 and can be booked now at the theatre Box-Office by calling 087-4036340.
