His Rev, Dr Laurence Forristal, retired Bishop of Ossory who has passed away
The funeral arrangements for the late Dr Laurence Forristal Bishop Emeritus of Ossory and former Auxiliary Bishop of Dublin. Died October 10th 2018 (peacefully) at St. Luke's Hospital. Deeply regretted by his sisters Kathleen, Nan and Mary, brother-in-law Eamon, sisters-in-law Maureen and Geraldine, nephews, nieces and his extended family, Bishop Dermot Farrell, Bishop Emeritus Seamus Freeman, priests, religious and the people of the Diocese of Ossory and all who met him in the course of his priestly and episcopal ministries.
Reposing at the Chapel at St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown from 2p.m. on Friday (Oct. 12th) followed by removal to St. Mary's Cathedral, Kilkenny (arriving at 7p.m.). Concelebrated Requiem Mass on Saturday (Oct. 13th) at 12noon followed by burial in the Cathedral grounds.
