Druids out in force for winter solstice at Knockroe, Kilkenny

The druids were out in force for the winter solstice at Knockroe Passage Tomb in South Kilkenny this morning.

They joined around 70 others expecting to see the sun light up 'An Caiseal', the prehistoric, archaeological site in the Liguan Valley bordering Tipperary and Kilkenny.

However there was too much cloud but it didn't dampen the spirits as everyone marveled at the beauty of the scenic location.
