Kilkenny man Phil Hogan would be 'favourably disposed' towards staying on as Ireland's EU Commissioner

Ireland's EU Commissioner for Agriculture, Kilkenny man, Phil Hogan, has said he would be favourably disposed to staying on for a second term.

Speaking to Matt O'Keeffe of the KCLR farm programme, the Tullaroan man said that he’s waiting until the matter of staying on is put to him before he gives it any real consideration.

His term of office is up this year and it is up to Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar to nominate Ireland's choice as EU Commissioner.
