A man is due before court charged in connection with possession of a knife at Greens Bridge in the city.
Gardaí were called to an altercation at Greens Bridge at 6.20pm on Sunday.
One male was arrested for possession of a knife. He was subsequently charged and is due to appear before Kilkenny District Court.
