One Kilkenny student has received eight H1's in her Leaving Cert results.
The Presentation Secondary School pupil is one of five students in the country to achieve these incredible results.
Principal Shane Hallahan said that he was delighted with school's performance.
"We are over the moon - a number of pupils got over 550 points, with the vast majority of students getting exceptional results," he said.
A total of 56,071 students sat the Leaving Cert this year with a further 2,716 (4.6%) candidates following the Leaving Certificate Applied Programme.
