Loanitt co-founders John Duggan and Padraig Nolan
Kilkenny-based FinTech Loanitt has signed a major partnership with Three Mobile to become its exclusive mortgage provider. From Feb 1, Loanitt is now the new Official Mortgage Partner to Three Ireland’s customers and 3Plus. Loanitt will exclusively offer a range of mortgage services to all 3Plus members from helping them to get mortgage ready, to applying for a mortgage and switching Lenders.
Loanitt, founded by ex-bankers John Duggan, from Tullahought and Padraig Nolan has experienced rapid growth since being founded in early 2018. Loanitt is already the largest Finance Intermediary in Ireland and last year signed a significant partnership with DoneDeal which saw Loanitt propelled to the leading provider of Agri Finance in Ireland. Already servicing thousands of customers in Car, Agri & Commercial Finance every month, the company launched into the mortgage market in December 2021. This partnership with Three Mobile will see it become a major player in the mortgage market in Ireland.
This recent new partnership is part of ambitious plans for the company. Loanitt CEO, John Duggan said of the new jobs ‘We are incredibly lucky as we have a great team in Loanitt, the new jobs will be across a range of departments including Mortgage Advisors, Software Engineers and Analytics. We have come a long way in a short time and there is always huge interest and competition for roles at Loanitt and to be part of something different and exciting’.
In addition, Loanitt has just launched a new technology brand named Kyiper, which has recently been granted a European Open Banking Licence and coincides with plans to open a large Series A funding round this year. ‘We were granted our Open Banking Licence in November 2021 and have had a lot of interest in the technology. Open Banking is seen as the next big Tech revolution and as one of the first providers, we are designing innovative and specialised solutions. We have had a lot of interest from International Investors and it’s very exciting’. Loanitt have engaged Industry giants KPMG to lead the fundraise which will lead to further growth and job creation for the company and Kilkenny in 2022.
