Auctioneer Joe Coogan, Castlecomer, Kilkenny
Grazing lands have made €640 per acre at Joe Coogan Auction Room in Castlecomer.
The auction was held in the auction room at Ballycomey House Castlecomer last Friday, February 4, with a large attendance. Joe Coogan, auctioneer, said there was a good number of active bidders present.
Lot 1: 5 acres presently in permanent pasture situated beside public road (No Entitlements). Bidding commenced at €150 and concluded at €640 per acre. The lands are available until November 15, 2022.
Lot 2: 42 Acres presently in permanent pasture with laneway access to public road (No Entitlements) cattle crush. Bidding commenced at €200 per acre and concluded at €360 per acre. The lands are available until November 15, 2022.
