Twenty nine patients are waiting for beds at St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny this morning.
According to the latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are twenty patients on trolleys at the Emergency Department and a further nine patients waiting for a bed elsewhere in the hospital.
Nationally there are 483 admitted patients waiting for beds in hospitals around the country.
