Twenty eight patients are being treated for Covid-19 at St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny according to the latest HSE figures.
There were two confirmed cases at the hospital in the past 24 hours and one patient is being treated in ICU.
Nationally the Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 9,186 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, on Thursday 10 March, 6,752 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
As of 8am today, 907 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 37 are in ICU.
Meanwhile according to the IMNO 34 patients are on trolleys at St Luke's Hospital.
