Kind-hearted pupils of The Rower National School dig deep for Ukraine

Members of the Parents Council Organising Committee: Lucy Murphy, Jackie Brothers, Mary McCormack - (school principal), Philip Moylan, Jim Galavan, Christina Murray and Emer Kavanagh.

Over €5,000 was raised recently by The Rower National School for those in need in Ukraine.
€2,500 was raised by children in the school and this was matched by The Zurich foundation as part of their initiative to support victims of the Ukrainian crisis. 
The event was organised by The Rower Parents Council with each child being sponsored €2 for every lap completed of the GAA pitch.
Over 150 people turned up last Sunday morning to support this worthy cause and were treated to a well deserved barbecue and refreshments after completing their laps.
