Kilkenny Gymnastics Academy trampoline gymnasts scoop eight national medals!

23 trampoline gymnasts from Kilkenny Gymnastics Academy competed at the All Ireland National Series Team and Individual Championships, organised by Gymnastics Ireland in the National Arena, in Blanchardstown last weekend.

The boys and girls put out great performances and made Kilkenny proud of them.

They competed from Level NSP 1 up to NSP Level 5, with many trampolinists moving up a level since their last competition and competing new skills.

A special mention to the following trampolinists:

Amber C- placed 5th in NSP 1 age 9-10yrs

Emilija G-Bronze Medal NSP 1 age 13-17yrs

Charlotte O'C- Silver Medal NSP 2 age 9-10yrs

Freya C- placed 5th in NSP 2 age 11-12yrs

Mia B- Bronze Medal NSP 4 age 11-12yrs

Eimear H- Bronze Medal NSP 5 15-16yrs

Eva D- Silver Medal NSP 15-16yrs

Shay M- Gold Medal NSP 5 age 13-14yrs

Sam J- Silver Medal NSP 5 age 13-14yrs

Eva D, Eimear H, Sam J and Shay M- Team Gold Medal NSP 5

All of these girls and boys coached by Ricardo and Reike put in between 3.5 - 8 hours training a week and have come on leaps and bounds since they started the trampoline program a year ago.
