Kilkenny's Newpark Hotel to turn Black Friday green

Kilkenny's Newpark Hotel and the Flynn Hotel Collection are planning to turn Black Friday green.

There will be savings of 20% on bed and breakfast rates in their landmark properties in Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Ennis, in addition to local green experiences for guests on arrival for those booking during the sale period. These welcome gifts have been thoughtfully selected to showcase local suppliers and producers to truly embrace the Green Friday ethos, which encourages people to shop sustainably and think local first.

The luxury boutique Imperial Hotel in the heart of Cork city is gifting guests with €20 voucher for the nearby historic English Market. The English Market where they source fresh produce for their menus and signature cocktails in an effort to not only bring an authentic taste of Cork to the table but also to reduce their carbon footprint.  This is part of sustainable ethos at the Imperial which has led them to recently being awarded a prestigious Gold Label by Fifty Shades Greener.

Ennis’s restored 18th century manor house hotel, The Old Ground, is offering guests a JJ Correy whiskey paired with Tuamgraney chocolates.
