Garda warning following the theft of catalytic converters in Kilkenny

Gardaí are warning people to be extremely vigilant following a number of thefts of catalytic converters from cars in Kilkenny.

The latest incident involved the theft of a catalytic converter was from a car in Owning. The car was parked outside the church when the catalytic converter was taken between 5pm on Monday (November 14) and 3pm on Tuesday (November 15). Anyone with information is asked to contact gardaí in Mooncoin with any information.

Meanwhile gardaí are also investigating the theft of a catalytic converter  from a car in Bianconi Way, Piltown on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred between 6pm and 8am.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information, dash cam or CCTV footage to contact Thomastown Garda Station.
