A very special festive evening will take place at St Mary’s Cathedral on December 18 (Sunday) at 7.3opm when the annual carol service takes place.

The much-loved event is returning after a three year break, due to the pandemic. All are invited to come along and soak up the atmosphere.

This year there is an outstanding lineup of performers including the St Mary’s Cathedral Choir, The Unity Singers, The Kilkenny Youth Orchestra and guest soloist, Kilkenny’s Tanya Sewell. Tanya is a familiar face to Kilkenny audiences and has performed previously at the carol service and also at Castalia Hall and as part of the Kilkenny Arts Festival.

There is no admission charge. A special collection will take place on the night for charity.
